    We are not a chain's local branch. We are a Rovaniemi team that runs the properties ourselves and answers the phone on Christmas Eve too.

    In short: Lapland Host is a short-term rental management company based in Rovaniemi, running around 100 properties in Rovaniemi, Levi and Ylläs. Our office is at Pohjolankatu 12, and the whole operation — cleaning, maintenance, pricing and guest communication — is done by our own team. We charge owners no fixed costs, only a share of realised rental income.

    How did Lapland Host start?

    We began by managing a single property in Rovaniemi and quickly saw what many owners recognise: short-term rental pays well, but it is daily work. Messages arrive at nine in the evening, cleaning is tied to a schedule and pricing needs constant attention.

    We built a process that survives the December rush and took on more properties. Today we manage around 100 across three locations, still on the same principle: a local team does the work itself.

    Who are we?

    Our team members are reachable by name and face — the same people run your property day to day.

    Handles property surveys and income estimates, and owner contacts from the first conversation to the agreement.

    Responsible for pricing, channels and reporting, and for measuring property performance with the right numbers.

    Why does being local matter in Lapland?

    Distances in Lapland are long and the season is short. When a pipe freezes or a guest cannot get in at half past eleven at night, the fix is needed in hours, not the next business day.

    Being local shows in pricing too: we know which weeks fill by themselves and which have to be sold. Data alone does not show that.
